Sarah Strickland, Arts in Education Coordinator
Sarah serves as a liaison between classroom teachers and folk artists, coordinating Folk Arts in Education programming. As a lifelong lover of the arts and an active participant, she strives to be a consistent advocate for arts education and works alongside the Center's folklorist, Lael Leslie, to bring the best programming to NJ students. Sarah is a graduate of William Paterson University, and has worked in the music industry for many years. When she is not at the Folklife Center, she can be found teaching vocal and instrumental music lessons, and directing theatrical productions.
